DAYNA RODGERS
As a personal trainer, I find great fulfillment in helping
others achieve maximum health in all aspects of the human body: physical,
mental, and spiritual. Physical health
begins at the cellular level and requires a solid balance of nutrition and
exercise. It is fascinating to discover
the way physical health leads directly to mental health. The physically healthy individual is more
focused and energized and ready to face life’s challenges. Lastly, and often neglected, is spiritual
health. The opportunity to work in the
atmosphere provided by Lord’s Gym offers the perfect environment to round out a
fitness program with spiritual health.
On a
p
ersonal level, I understand the challenges facing today’s busy individual and
work hard to develop programs that fit into any lifestyle. I am a very busy working mother of three
beautiful children. While working in
fitness for over 20 years and raising a family, I have also found the time to
compete in the San Jose Super Bowl body building contest, where I took 3rd
place overall. Additional body building
awards include winning several bench press competitions and a high point in my
fitness career came when an Olympic coach recruited me. I also completed paramedic school and spent
eight years as a volunteer firefighter/EMT.
It is my
life’s passion to use my knowledge and experience to lead others toward optimum
