Lord’s Gym Backpacks 4 Kids
Over the last 8 years, we have partnered with many families and businesses in our community to raise funds to purchase backpacks for the kids in El Dorado County. Together we have given away over 2,300 backpacks, this would not be possible without the generous sponsorships of people like you. Your heart for our community and the kids growing up in it, is the difference maker. In addition to brand new Backpacks, We began filling the Backpacks with school supplies, we were also able to give haircuts to every child and provide outfits for their fist day of school. This accomplishment made for a truly amazing day in our community.
Lord's Gym is an established nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization. Our Backpacks 4 Kids giveaway relies on private and corporate donations from the community, and sponsorships from businesses. Without community involvement, sponsors and fundraising, we will not be able to offer local low income families the assistance they need to help their children have an amazing first day of school and successful school year.
